Best synagogue software with a built-in website
One login for the office, one bill, one vendor. The trade is design flexibility, and the question is whether the bundled website is good enough to be the congregation's public face.

The bundled-website trade
A platform that includes the public website gives you one vendor, one login and a portal that is part of the site rather than a link to somewhere else. The costs are design flexibility, dependence on the vendor's templates, and the risk that the website module receives less development attention than billing. One widely used vendor has publicly stated it no longer builds custom websites, which pushes congregations toward templates or an external designer.
The alternative is a WordPress or Squarespace site maintained by a volunteer or an agency, with the platform providing only the member portal and forms. Several agencies specialize in synagogue WordPress sites that integrate with the major platforms; they are profiled in the complementary section of the directory.
